Company gatherings are special events we hold for our staff to commemorate the holiday festivities. This can range from Christmas to New Years to the Mooncake Festival. Regardless of race or nationality, all of our staff are welcome to join the celebrations and share the atmosphere, food and fellowship together. All of our company gatherings are greatly organized by our staff’s teamwork and would not be possible without it.

Christmas is always a joyous occasion, and for GWI, it’s a wonderful time to embrace the excitement in the premises that we all share a sense of belonging.
This year’s Christmas, we transformed our factory in Gabon Special Economic Zone(GSEZ) into a tropical Christmas party full of delicious food & drinks prepared by our staffs. We played several fun and exciting games as well for everyone to show their lively side, and performances by staffs who are not shy to show off their hidden talent amidst their serious look during work.
The Christmas celebration turn out to be a great success, with everyone having good times cherishing the fun moments and eventually each bring back wonderful memories as well as their Christmas gifts.

Mooncake Festival, or The Mid-Autumn Festival is traditionally celebrated by East and Southeast Asia. However, this year at GWI, we wanted to share and celebrate this special occasion together with all our staff, no matter where they hail from. Whether from Gabon, or across the sea, everyone could pick a colourful lantern, light it up, and join the party.

Chinese New Year or Lunar New Year celebrates the beginning of a new year according to the Chinese Calendar. On Chinese New Year, we at GWI like to get festive in the cultural traditions of Chinese New Year. Red decorations are hung around the office, staff dress in auspicious red and red envelopes (or Hongbao) are given out among our people. Food and music is also commonly organized so our staff can enjoy the cultural atmosphere whether away from home, or as someone who is experiencing Chinese New Year for the first time.
